Learning to drift in Nitro Dusk without wrecking every corner
Drifting is the whole game in Nitro Dusk, and for my first hour I was terrible at it. The trick I wish someone had told me: brake before the corner, not during the drift.
Set up early. Ease off the throttle heading into a bend, tap the drift, then feed the throttle back in as you slide. Trying to drift and accelerate at the same moment just spins you into the wall.
I also switched from tilt to on-screen controls, which gave me way more precision on the tight late-game tracks. Tilt feels fun but it fought me on the sharp stuff.
Boost management is the last piece. Save your boost for the straight after a good drift chain rather than blowing it into a corner. Once these click, the whole game speeds up in a good way.
