About
Echobox Play started as a shared notebook between a few friends who kept trading tips about the games we were stuck on. At some point the notes got long enough to deserve their own site, and here we are.
Everything you read is written after someone on the team has actually put hours into the game. We don't cover a title unless one of us has played it far enough to have an honest opinion about the pacing, the controls, and whether it's worth your storage space.
We pick games from a wide mix of genres — role-playing, strategy, racing, puzzles, whatever we're genuinely curious about that month. Popularity gets a game onto our radar, but what keeps it on the site is whether there's something useful to say about how to play it.
The guides are meant to be read on a break, not memorized. Short, practical, and written the way we'd explain it to a friend who just downloaded the thing.
Marta Lindqvist — Marta runs the editorial side and has been chasing high scores on handheld devices since she was a kid. She's the one who insists every guide gets rewritten until it actually helps.
